The last episode is titled "Dennis' Double Life", so we may see some of that (or a personal favorite theory) that he has a secret second gang.

"Hi, I'm LT, I have a bleached asshole."

But that then invalidates that her fears are irrational, which was the whole point.

That whole scene in the movie then invalidates that Josephine's fears are actually irrational, which is the whole point. The scene in the show almost feels like a parody of the film itself, as in the book the house falling isn't made a big fuss of and the kids leave it immediately.
