Very disappointing about JCVJ. I reeaaaaaallly liked it.

The first network TV show about a black superhero? Perhaps you’ve forgotten M.A.N.T.I.S., which aired for one glorious season on the FOX network?

A green card means you’re allowed to stay as long as you comply with the laws, not “no matter what”. A conviction for wire fraud means he should have been on a plane 16 years ago…

I agree that Seven Psychopaths was very full of itself for no reason at all. And I’ll even agree that The Guard had a little bit of that smugness as well. However Brendan Gleeson’s performance in The Guard was masterful and makes that movie well worth it.

I thought The Last Jedi was the most divisive film of last year that got mostly glowing reviews.

“It’s your kids, Futureman. Something’s gotta be done about your kids!”

OMG remember “Pokemon GO to the polls?”

My theory about Discovery is that the most recent Spore Drive jump brought them into the Prime Universe.

Whatever The Orville was in its 1st season, it’s already light-years ahead of Star Trek: Discovery in the sci-fi and watchability departments.

I’m pissed too. Let’s recap the events.

HUGE X-Files defender here, I liked the last season, almost all of it.

This was complete dog shit. I can’t believe what I just watched. Horrendously edited and paced, badly shot, badly written, badly scored, every aspect of this was embarrassing. I can’t take this much longer. I have no idea how something so psychotically frenetically paced could have so little story, but this was an

The only thing missing was Bobby Ewing coming out of the shower and telling us last season was all a dream. X-files... I’m done.

I rarely so strongly disagree with an AVClub review, but I thought this episode was a steaming pile of shit. I was so bored by the end that I didn’t even care about the big reveal. It was pretty much 40 minutes of exposition interrupted by a Ford Mustang ad.

People got a little up in arms about Bright. It was fine. It’s not the best movie you saw in 2017, but it was far from the worst, no matter what Katie thought about it. There was some enjoyable stuff, and it set the stage and opened a few doors to explore a fun world. That’s all the first movie was - to give a setting

Does anyone remember when this was called Alien Nation?

This really should have been a series so they could really build things up over time rather than a quick movie.

Counter-counterpoint: This movie will become/should have been a series.

Pushing someone to murder still makes you guilty of charge. This is basically equal to calling a hitman.
