Thank you Hamlet. All those sites are new to me but I do subscribe to Mother Jones!!!! Comes every 2 months, a great read. Tomorrow I will start poking around on all of these. Thank you very much.
Yes. Theu look official. With a drawing of a coffin. Had no idea what they meant till i googled last night. They crop up then vanish after s while.
Turns out its pretty controversial an issue. Where I live they are now prohibited because gangs were getting in the action and now if a family were to elect a memorial and the City receives a complaint, just one complaint mind you, the family is notified and the memorial is removed by City employees and if not…
Hamilton is the guy that tackles fitness stories.
I cant finish sentences. The other day i put a tub of ice-cream in the sink. Yesterday I put bottles that I had washed and meant to sterilize in the microwave in the fridge instead. After that I googled it because its no longer cute. But I can tell you how many ounces baby had per day for the past week, I can recite…
Awesome. Having food concerns taken care of lightens the load. Best wishes.
How is your memory though? I sound like an idiot. I can type but cant form coherent sentences in convos.
Me: honey but my milk in the thing
Hubby: what thing?
Me: the thing we put stuff in
Him: the fridge?
All day long. Its five months post partum. I return to work in 7 months. Am scared.
In my city roadside memorials a prohibited but not banned. If someone complains, the family is notified then a road crew is sent to dismantle it. Items are stored for six months and if not claimed they are discarded. But this is Canada. We are polite.
Absolutely. Can you imagine an imposed mourning time frame? I ended up googling and reading a journal article on roadside memorials. Its a hot topic. Emotional and political as well. Some of us immigrants cant travel for every funeral. We mourn in our ways until we can travel and lay flowers down. We dont know if this…
I ended up on wiki reading about this, in Alberta there is two year limit in some areas. In the USA they are banned outright in four states.
Agree, we never stop mourning, I understand that. However, wouldn't you like to have all that removed from public spaces after a while and if practical, moved to their final resting place. I very much would rather visit the cemetery than a plastic makeshift on a corner.
Can you argue that you dont believe in hauntings? Isnt this very subjective?
You are strong. I would be out in a shelter after one night of that. I scare easy.
I have been on xojane but its boring. Discovered Buzzfeed in November. Have been on slate for 5+ years. Please give me pointers. I quit Facebook Jan 2013 and was shocked by how much time I had spent on it. I need good balanced sites. Doesn't have to be feminist sites. My hubby has me reading Reddit too but I dare not…
Am a Gawker addict. What else is out there?
I hear most female "writers" on Jezebel are fat to obese so taking pot shots at Lena is just projecting. Shameful.

Went to see UB40 at Massey in Ontario in 2005. There was a joint being passed around and the usher/security person was frustrated. He couldnt tell who had it, it became a game of cat and mouse. My fear of cold sores stopped me from partaking but the joint made for side entertainment. Also went alone because all my…
They were looking for survilence and got the videos. He is the most irritating, i hope this wakes him up some.
