But hey, no Matt Lauer. That’s something.

Britt McHenry was flat out ROBBED.

One thing I want to re-emphasize in reply to this is that we have no idea if the bulk of that $89 million is new money. The league can just take it out of its already-planned charitable budget. Or its ad budget.

You can certainly qualm that, but I do feel pretty cynical about an owner spending a total of $1.75 million, with nothing to stop them from (metaphorically, but not overly so) spending it on an ad campaign saying “The NFL: Look how much we care about black people.”

Holy shit the NFL is stupid. First of all, the players aren’t protesting the NFL’s not giving enough money to certain charities. The players aren’t protesting the NFL AT ALL. So offering money to charities as a way to stop protests that aren’t really about that feels kind of sleazy and manipulative (and by the way, if

I think it’s more “we’ll do this, you shut up and be a good boy, but maybe in the end we won’t actually do it, and you’ll have no say on how or if we do it”

The issue is the NFL trying to buy their right to protest with hush money.

I don’t have an obligation to put money in a Salvation Army kettle. But putting in 7 pennies is paltry.

$250K an owner? Even taking out Irsay, the average owner probably spends more than that a year on hookers and drugs. What a joke.

I meant to say Western Virginia and I have ZERO idea why I said Michigan and had to reread my own post.

...why is Geno the one black quarterback teams want to give endless chances to?

He wouldn’t have any problem with the damn thing if he’d used his head instead of the tape, and stapled the chain to his chest in the first place. The big wuss...

“You sure about that?”

Sit these shitheads down for the season. And who wears a chain on the football field?

I tend to see two arguments to the Okafor situation, which completely contridict eachother.

1. He’s terrible.
2. They don’t want him to hurt the Sixers if he goes to a contender.
3. The sometimes mentioned issue, which I find incredibly humorous, is his durability. On a team with Joel Embiid. (I, much like every other
