He could have deflated them

He refers to the White House as "Julius Randle without brains"

I’ve learned not to question the guy who only pops out to the infield twice a year.

Maybe his head is too big but he doesn't want to look like the great Kazoo. Did you ever think of that??

1) Pitchers throw harder, ball gets hit harder.

Counterpoint counterpoint: can’t hear boos if there aren’t any fannies in the seats!

Hold my beer” - Robinson Cano

No, Soledad, I WISH she was a fucking slut! Don't you see the difference? I'm WISHING she was something she isn't!!! The media doesn't cover me fairly. Russia would(n't) understand.

He knew the camera was on him so it was probably a set up.

Agreed on all counts. People forget about Gerrit Cole’s fly ball rate was part of the reason we didn’t go all in on him. That, and the Pirates wanted Andujar but settled for Colin Moran. Gerrit Cole has been successful but that hasn’t led Houston to a second title.

Trading for a Boyd would not satisfy the fan base unless he proves himself right away. If you trade a popular young player like Frazier, you better get back someone the fans view as one of the better pitchers in the game or name recognition. I personally think Boyd is a fine pitcher but less than 25% of fans know who

Cashman said he wouldn’t trade Frazier for a rental who will be a free agent at year's end (such as MadBum). Stroman has an extra year. Cashman does prefer guys with multiple years of control but also knows it would cost a lot more than Frazier. It will be fun to see what happens!

Hey now! That's not how Zumaya died. He died from a broken elbow. That video still makes me queasy

Aroldis Chapman IS a freak. He’s 6'5 and probably weighs 245 lbs. This allows him to throw 100 mph without the extra body movements of smaller pitchers.

The sad truth is Terry Collins is 10x the manager Calloway is, and they couldn’t wait to run Collins out of town. Mets are a full blown shit show

Some of the younger guys would stick around a little longer, yes. Some guys leave early to pursue an actual career if it's not working out for them

That’s how everyone pictured Terry Collins until the video of him arguing with the umpire when Syndergard threw behind Utley surfaced.

The major league team pays the salaries of the players. The major league team provides some amenities, pays for trainers, strength coaches, video production, managers, coaches, etc.

The hazing thing is a little bit too much. No student should be hazed to the point of death or near death just to wear some Greek letters for a few years. That's just fucking Neanderthal thoughts. It's a fucking frat for crying out loud.

Players drafted in the top 8-10 rounds usually get a decent signing bonus and contract to where this doesn’t really apply to them. Those players typically help take care of their brethren drafted in the late rounds.
