Not quite true. He had leading roles in much smaller movies like Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and The Singing Detective - THOSE were the big risk castings, Iron Man was basically his formal comeback.

It’s not a parody. A parody mocks the style of a composition through heightened effect, think the Scary Movie franchise. It’s still a kaiju movie, just a light-hearted one, but with genuine stakes and drama.

Oh I’ve loved plenty of games in the past 20 years haha. I just said probably my top favorite two games. That being said 20 years ago, my top 2 favorite games were still probably Zelda: ALTtP and Super Mario World. Hell they’re probably still my top 2.

I have no faith that Nintendo will show goodwill on this front...which is exactly why I have no qualms whatsoever of using a rather large library of ROM files to play to my heart’s content.
