I decided to cater to some family requests and spun out a roasted vegetable quiche with goat cheese that came out incredible, thanks to being tipped off by my darling wife that sour cream renders impossibly fluffy eggs. I also made the Campbell’s bacon hash brown casserole, dropping the broccoli, upping the bacon to 1

I was more on the cardboard side of things this year, as I gifted my wife a copy of Betrayal at House on the Hill, and received the incredible Gloomhaven, as well as the Darkroot Basin expansion for my black sheep fave Dark Souls: The Board Game. Gloomhaven got to be broken in with the first two sessions with my wife

Transistor is amazing, and if you’re picking that up, I’d highly recommend grabbing Bastion as well.

Not gonna lie, I’m pretty pumped that I only have one game I’m interested in per month for the first quarter of 2019. I figure KH3, New Dawn, and DMCV will all be great, or at least good to me.

Well put. Dungeon!, much like HeroQuest, is a product of its time, and the ideas it does well have been handled better by following products. Honestly, the best Gatewat D&D experience now still comes from WotC, just in the form of the D&D Adventure System board games. I’ve personally tried Castle Ravenloft, which is a

Next time it comes up, be sure to put a nomination in.

No, not at all! I thought it was pretty funny, like a dom that leaves a user satisfaction survey card on the nightstand table.

It’s more like “I, a bottom that wants to be topped, despite by virtue of having a penis being the traditional top in hetero relationships, am going to try and persuade you to top me, and if I don’t get my way, I’ll sulk like a whiny Vers hookup from Grindr that was made to top.” Being a sub doesn’t mean giving in to

Honorable mention goes to Gloomhaven. It’s sprawling, massively complex, deep as the great blue ocean, and extremely intriguing in all the right ways. However, it’s also among the most expensive games out there at an MSRP of 140 USD, requires an aftermarket storage solution of some kind in order to not immediately

This is dangerously broad, like ‘what’s your favorite video game?’ broad. That being said, if I had to pick a contender to throw into the ring, I’d choose Santorini. Not only is it a wonderfully deft game of strategy and planning, but it’s also mercifully brief, easy to play, fairly cheap, easy to find, and

Filtered water makes a difference. I fill my sphere molds with water from my Brita and it tastes fine.

Protect Jewish interests in the US. Wide-eyed frothing conspiracy theories aside, it’s hardly a secret that a lot of extremely powerful and wealthy people in the US are of Jewish lineage or have Jewish interests at the very least. These laws are pushed by them through the politicians they help fund so as to ensure

It is without a sprint mod, let me tell you what. Been replaying the game recently, and I have no clue how I ever finished this game without the option to book it down the road. There’s a lot of big empty space between points of interest, and the best parts of the game were all tied to the hubs anyway.

Someone further up the comments explained it, but it’s not the actual images/video/content, its the hashkey data and other data fingerprinting methods used to trace the files in question. Presumably this data is ripped from the files of the law enforcement agencies in charge of monitoring this content.

Career, kids, hobbies, personal passions to pursue, all while being a homemaker in some capacity. The Second Shift does a fantastic job of explaining the problem far better than I could, and was a massive piece of formative literature for my own work-life balance.

Wanted is way, way worse. Kick-Ass is mean spirited and messed up, but Wanted is actively hateful. The movie adaptation is an absolute wreck, but it’s a fun wreck, and one of my favorite movies of last decade, occupying the same space as the hyper violent acid trip Shoot ‘Em Up.

I mean, not my place, but sure. It seems a fool’s errand to make a move like this, when it seems more likely that people would seek it out for a change of pace from the typical art style of locally developed games, rather than editing it to fit in with the expected aesthetic of JP-centric titles. This is also a poor

Thanks for your sympathy. The margins were tighter this time than I expected, so I’m hoping that the increased interest will carry momentum into 2020.

Alternate continuity building on the the existing canon. Also, generally, a more watchable experience, but they’re kind of their own thing, especially after 2.22. If you’ve watched 1.11, you’re a decent way into the progression of the show, but I’d say it’s worth watching both the original series and the films, as
