I use my mower more in the winter than the summer. in the summer the grass dies and the weeds only need mowing once every 6 weeks or so.

I opt for the crescent wrench quite often, however there are situations where a ratcheting socket set makes it a lot easier. Specifically when the nut is recessed, or you only have a few inches of rotation before hitting an obstacle.
My problem is I need both a metric and an imperial socket set as there doesn’t seem to be consistent usage.
I feel your pain, the first year of my son’s life was sleep hell. We got lucky and he has settled into a good 6:30 or 7pm bed time and 6-6:30 am wake up.
The bike commute home is definitely key to decompressing. Then once home I start prepping dinner for when the wife and kids roll up about 30 minutes later.
We added cardboard to the window this summer for both our 4 yr old and 1yr old. That made the rooms dark enough bedtime became a winnable battle .... most of the time
Wow, that is a bit of a pain with a kid that age. With my two kids we found that as they got older the length of the afternoon nap had to be monitored very closely, too long of a nap and no sleep until two hours past regular bed time, not enough sleep and they are crabby until bed time.
I am very surprised to see a Mana song referenced here. Used to listen to them all the time in high school when I lived in South America. Up here in Canada hardly anyone has heard of them.
Actually it has been around since Windows 8. I know because I set up an account for my 3 year old, at the time, and was impressed that I could get emails about the computer usage.
I switched to a mechanical keyboard because my finger joints were getting sore from typing on membrane keyboards where the keys need to be bottomed out to register a press.
I still love my budget 42” Panasonic Plasma that I bought way back in 2009. It is still going strong and has absolutely lovely picture quality.
My wife and I have started prepping freezer crock pot meals quite regularly now that she is back at work and we have two kids.
I am so happy that my girl is going to be in Kindergarten this fall. One less daycare/preschool expense! Kindergarten won’t be free by any means, but it better not be anywhere near as expensive as preschool.
When my second child was born, he was a handful for the first year, horrible sleep schedule mostly. My wife and I transitioned from casual drinkers to drinkers for most of that year. At the end of the day that beer or glass of wine was so nice.
Wow, a little judgmental there.
Just two weeks ago I was looking at these. Our old chain driven opener had the gear on the drive shaft sheer off.
Isn’t it a bit odd that in the geography analysis the omitted Washington state? Both Amazon and Microsoft are in the area and would likely sway the statistics significantly.
A few years ago we had our kitchen redone for around $9k. It was all custom cabinets and a new layout. We kept the old appliances but did a lot of the work ourselves including, taking out the old cabinets, moving the electrical sockets as needed, plumbing for the dishwasher, and tiling the wall.
I know the feeling, I could kill it in the sit up test, the pull up test, do ok on the mile run, but be barely able to reach past my knees in the sit and stretch test. I always felt using these four items to gauge physical ability was a bit odd, especially now that we know how bad sit-ups are for your back.
Backpacking through Patagonia is without a doubt the highest on my bucket list.
