@xd.Balls: When I was in Ecuador, I had a friend with a Cessna take me up to get some photos of a volcano one morning, when we landed the tower told us to taxi to the military hanger where they asked if we had taken any photos of the area, military security and all, with the camera on my lap I said, "No" and they let

@Rastervision: The Z detection is done by measuring the size of the colored sphere on the top of the controller.

I would like to know what family of 4 spends only $3,465 on food for at home.

@amrcanpoet: I drink the free coffee provided at work and about once a week buy a coffee, real black coffee $2, for a treat.

@HardwareWars: Actually the newer low flow shower heads are much better.

@gizgeek: Don't forget the weeks in a row of rain while planting in the Alberta swamps with mud that triples the weight of the boots.

@gizgeek: I've done my share of tree planting as well and I agree that northern Alberta would not be a feasible market for this, however central BC would be great for this.

@cwbys21: I believe you are correct, I did a look at the minimum specs again and noticed that DirectX 10 isn't required. I thought the article on Kotaku showed that you needed a DirectX 10 compatible card.

Seems like a good idea. However usually when I am playing a multiplayer game I have have more than two people in the room, with everyone else waiting for a chance to switch in. This would be unwatchable by anyone without the glasses.

@HighFlyer15: My desktop is truely ancient, 5 or 6 years, with a Celeron core. My laptop is 2.5 years old with integrated graphics.

With Starcraft's imminent release, I am finding it harder and harder to not buy a new desktop, or more capable laptop to be able to play it.

@madog: Nokia might have the most communications related patents, but Palm's whole patent portfolio is related to smart phone applications specifically.

@beenyweenies: I agree with points 1 and 3 very strongly. Point 2 is true, but there are fanboys for pretty much every brand, we just see more of them being rabid on Giz.

@LeonBA: I don't think that word monopoly means what you think it means.

I do not think offering free bumpers is a reasonable solution. The aesthetics of the design will be ruined with a big rubber ring around the iPhone. It won't slide into and out of pockets and purses with ease. Suddenly a very clean phone becomes a massive godzilla.

@Thut: The last Olympian god is waiting for me to kill him in the next day or two!

@MrLister: The real issue is that 3D in movies and games is dependent on each eye seeing a different image and your brain processing them properly, if something is wrong with the persons vision they are likely to end up seeing a blurred/double image, which is unacceptable.

What I got out of this is that some experts are saying it is healthy to exhibit two separate personalities. Decades ago that would have gotten you some serious electro shock therapy.

@Ian Logsdon: Actually it is quite beneficial to your creative process if you do just sit on the bus and think. The free time where you aren't actively engaging your brain in any specific activity is when your brain really gets a chance to shine.
