I'm currently in the process of making my lawn look decent, the back lawn is fine, but the front lawn has a lot of dandilion weeds, moss, and bare thatched soil.

@martin_jones: My dad did this a few years ago. He bought a electric timer valve control unit, a bunch of the popup sprinkler heads and 1/2" or 3/4" flexible pipe.

@OfficerJesus: NA sales, or at least U.S. sales are released on a monthly basis by the NPD, and usually aren't presented in the convenient pie chart on Kotaku.

If I had ever stayed up all night after my parents banned me from gaming, there would not have been a video game left in my house for me to play.

@Kainy: This too is how I function. However I will not say others don't have self-control, they may just have parent's who didn't instill the same values that I hold into their children. Or, even more likely, they have a disposition to being addicted/obsessive towards a behavior.

Had my PS3 for 18 months or so and got it for three reasons.

@anniekate76: I apologize for the tone, and thank you for the science. As I mentioned in another reply, I had no idea that only 10% of the population were early risers. My interactions with people through out my short 27 years of experience has seen a much higher percentage of early risers.

@Andre Kibbe: Now that is some interesting information. I had no idea that it was only around 10% of the population that were early risers. At least 20%-30% of the people I interact with regularly are early risers, hence my not understanding all the focus on trouble getting out of bed.

@Torchwood: That does make sense. Somehow I missed that Consumerist article when it was first posted a couple months back. There is some really good advice in there that I will be needing before the end of the year.

@Torchwood: I have heard this said many times and need it explained to me. If my bank can only offer me a line of credit at 3.5% and the car dealer is offering 0%, why would I not finance through the dealer?

I am continually surprised at how many people find it difficult to get up in the morning. When I first met my wife I thought it was odd that she had such a hard time getting out of bed, even though she sleeps much deeper and longer than I do.

@UERD: From the CivFanatics forums the rumor is that cities will defend themselves, but that you can take any unit and add it to the city defenses. This will absorb the unit and it will become part of the overall city's health.

@Foddz: I bought Civ 3 and it came with a free copy of Civ 2. I ended up playing the copy of Civ 2 5x more than the Civ3 game. Something just didn't feel right about Civ3.

Need for Speed, any sports franchise that releases the same game year after year.

@CaptLavender: True it isn't free. I was just using the wording they use. Though for me it was a great deal because I got DA for only $40.
