@Merricat: Fair enough. It is true that the original article seems to be situation purposefully constructed for failure. But the purchase/returning of a Wii was the main point of the article, as per my reading. The mentioning how little/controller the TV/computer access is for his children was merely a point against

@Merricat: It sure is nice to not have comments that bash someone's lifestyle choices without even knowing the person.

@ThisLife17: I love the Sackboy assassin. Was that part of a costume pack that was any good?

@Bobly: I know, this is the best trick I have ever seen and has saved me from retying many a shoe lace.

@J.R.: A quick fix so that laces never come undone is to wrap around the first loop two times rather than one. I had a friend show me this a few years ago, and it makes a huge difference, especially on my hiking boots that used to always come undone unless I did the dreaded double knot.

Dragon Age. Hopefully I'll finish up the Mage's Circle, I'm currently halfway through the fade.

@770312: I agree that most video games just put it in for the sake of having it there. I am reserving my judgment of Heavy Rain until I have played it because from what I have seen it appears as if the emotional connection is designed to be strong enough with the character that the sex enhances the immersion.

@770312: Good news, that is what Heavy Rain is attempting to do.

@djiezes: Or get a browser that already has the functionality you need built in.

Unfortunately having a net value of $3.8 billion does not actually mean he can go and spend that much money. Most of that is tied up in stocks and other assets, which if he were to try to convert all of his assets to cash would likely cause said stocks to plummet and end up with him not getting anywhere near that

@luigilogik: But if you know you are getting tricked into exercising, then you haven't actually been tricked because you know it is a trick.

I am not a FireFox user so I was amazed at the amount of screen space the default buttons, toolbar, and tab bar take up! That is utterly ridiculous compared to Opera.

@wickedcupofjoe: I'm surprised Nintendo hasn't put some kind of a sensor in the Wiimote to make sure it is attached to the wrist.

@Interstella5555: The key is if it has been flat on the ground for a long period of time, to make sure it is upright for a few hours before turning it on. I've heard this a couple of places but have yet to hear a good explanation, though with a $1200 TV I'm willing to take people's word.

@madmathias: Just keep praying to the gods at Panasonic because at this point they are still going strong with their Plasmas, with no plans to stop production any time soon.

@Deto: I think it was a good idea for the long term because it is forcing developers to learn to use many concurrent threads. This is good because as we add more and more cores to processing units the applications need to be more highly threaded. Someone had to make the big jump first and Sony decided they would,

Overrated. I can see 3D remaining popular for certain movies in theatres, but I don't think there is any large consumer demand for 3D in the home.

@hermes200: I Canada I have found that HMV carries the PSN cards.

@SpiralGray: It all depends on their selection process. 800 people can provide very accurate statistics as long as their selection process covered enough demographics.

The only DLC I have paid for is the Pirate's of the Caribbean level pack for LBP, and it was well worth the price.
