I saw a trailer for this a while ago. THIS is some indie shit I can get behind. The music and visuals remind me of Pixar, of which I am a huge fan. And the puzzling looks great both in SP and coop. I just love its style ALOT. Been hoping it finds a publisher. Hopefully its PSN bound cus I'll be all over it.
I feel special inside. :}
You for real? Half life set the bar for shooters. The only better shooter to come out before 2 was the original and the only better shooters to come out since are none.
*Sigh* 15/25 story missions for the review.
I had never played a single horror survival until Dead Space and that series to me, is amazing in its own right, not just cus its horror survival. So I agree with him. I think Dead Space nails the gameplay absurdly well, regardless of the genre it belongs to, which makes it so popular IMO.
"I don't expect someone to play through all three Jak and Daxter games to offer me their views on the Jak and Daxter Trilogy."
People are right, nobody should be forced to play shitty games for 8+ hours.
That's a Westinghouse if I'm not mistaken. I just got one of those my self since my 50" Vizio's power board is fried and didnt wanna spend couple hundred dollars to fix it. Felt like it would be a waste of investment. The Westinghouse is OK, nothing special.
This could be article of the year if that's what they were Really going for. Something tells me I'll shed a tear because it's not.
If people thought Braid was some earth shattering revelation in gaming, Journey is the next fucking coming. No joke.
Yea, alot of what I'm reading came off as if it were purposely being written in a pretentious tone. I'm not used to that tone when I read through kotaku articles. I have no other choice then to say it's because it's an article about J.Blow.
Hahaha. I think my favorite part is the real time shadows of a stick figure guy lol.
PC gaming just got the Cliffy B. bump. >_> *snicker*
Eh, debatable of course. Some would say that the Escher-esque style of echochrome is immediately more recognizable which could also be referred to as "eye-catching". Debatable none the less. At least there's something like this we Can play and is available.
I own this game, its echochrome 2.
I understand how you might look at it that way but rereading/staring/waiting to leave are obviously not comparative to actively Playing a game more. To me, those things aren't really Fun per say, unless you find rereading/staring/waiting fun. Playing the game though I do personally consider fun.
I think trophies/achievements have actually added to gaming in a BIG way. Getting every trophy adds value to any game. MW3 for example: I don't play MP, and the campaign isn't very long. To get the platinum however, it added HELLA hours to my overall playtime.
