Well no don't be worried, I think you actually helped make my point. First off, I never said these companies should attempt to make a CoD/ME/Uncharted with a budget such as Minecraft. Just because a company thinks that a used games market will eliminate their chances to make a CoD/ME/Uncharted and make a profit,

TL;DR

I may be naive but really? No star for that? Jim Carrey haters.

Ya know, I brought this up a little while ago to my girlfriend. How society is different in the sense of the internet as a go-to source of information but more importantly, Experiences. She had asked me if I ever put salt on a slug and I said no but that I could look it up on youtube without feeling bad for the slug.

Now all I need to do is get to the roof of that hotel type building and snipe the SHIT out of anyone who gets near it.

Lol Brotaku. He definitely fit the picture. Good shit.

Enjoyment? I suppose that's the only thing the rest of us Can get out of it.

Ok done. Promise.

Too much?

I really need to stop.

I can't help it.

...or augmented.

Still the original.

What I find funny about this is that Obviously the non playing used games bit is to stop used game sales. You think this "huge" used game population are the same people who are going to support your system that Cant play used games?

Longevity and just pure consumer opinion will not be high with a system that doesn't allow new games. How many reprints do companies do after the initial launch? Enough to stem the tide of the used market for very long? Hell no. So you're already closing the window on time to buy to be able to ACTUALLY play the game.

Sony is drooling over the possibility of this. Cutting off used games, IMO, would result in a HUUUUGE hit on console sales for the next XBOX if they did it. Sony Wants them to do this so bad.

Remember they caved on the free Portal 2 Co-op DLC. So there ARE signs of them going in the right direction, however minuscule those steps are.

That game was how I found out about Lacuna Coil. I will forever be greatful.

Well they wouldn't allow Steam connectivity for one. If you release your game on PSN first, they may deny you publishing rights altogether. So for example, anyone who creates for a platform Other than XBOX360 has to follow Microsoft's rules Anyway otherwise they run the risk of not being allowed entrance to that

I always like to see consoles pushing past what is expected of them. First PS3's connectivity with Steam, now microtransactions. Regardless of how you feel about any of it, I'm all for consoles thinking outside the box. (No pun intended.) I don't own an XBOX360 but for gaming's sake I wish they would loosen the belt
