Using Windows 7-64bit on my desktop and Windows XP-32 on my laptop; Win7 is my 'main' OS, but I like both for different reasons. #operatingsystems

Even though I enjoy the Windows 7 taskbar, I like the way OSX does it the best, so that gets my vote #dock

I don't understand why you are saying that it's important to hide the SSID. NetStumbler should be able to detect a network whether the SSID is broadcast or not. Also, detection of a network does not really give an attacker very much surface to attack if the network is already encrypted with a sufficiently long,

What's up with the pain-in-the-ass "click on each item" interface? This isn't the Lifehacker I know...

I dunno... $100 just to hide the litter box? And it has to be at least a little bit of a pain to change out every few days.

The above method works pretty well, I must agree. (Fold the cord in half over and over until you get the desired length, then tie in a knot.)

I do work as a consultant, so I pretty much live out of my bag instead of a desk. The "Firewall" bag from eBags is the best computer bag I've ever used. [www.ebags.com]

Nice idea, but I'm more of the "less bandwidth" side of stuff.

I've got the Samsung Blast. It was cheap (Free!) and does its job well enough. I wouldn't mind a new phone, but they're so damm expensive.

Looks like the price is going up each day, don't wait too long to get the awesome deal. As of right now it's about $41.

In my dreams, I'm not in my office at all!
