Saw it on monday, we asian got to see the movie early. I’m starting to watch Marvel movies the way I see fast food.. nice, filling, comfort zone.. and that’s pretty much it. Nothing suprises or excites me more, and I’m starting to think that most general “non comic fans” audience will feel the same way.

Too bad, I enjoyed both movies for the nostalgia factor and they were both okay. I know there’ll be die hard fans who’ll never settle for less and will bitch about anything to make sure their blogs get clicks but for me watching these two movies (and Warcraft) was a childhood dream come true.

I’m a developer and I’ve done localization before, what I did was sending the translator the whole string table for them to translate along with explanations and how they can see the text. Chances of things not translated almost 0% unless the I the developer screws up and never the translator/QA.

Ok, horror trailers should really stop showing what the ghost/demon/etc looks like. It really kills my desire to see the movie knowing way ahead what the thrill looks like.

As someone who lives in Asia city .. it has become a norm to see people at every hour of the day everytime I get out of house. I thought that was the case until I visit several NA cities and dumbfounded that I can’t hardly see people in the street past 7-8pm. I thought there’s an apocalypse or something..
