I don't know, I have the feeling that something is off.. something that tells me that the movie may not going to be as good as it looks.

The lack of proper shadows destroyed it.. if everything's baked then it'll show how bad it is when things start to move around in the scene.

I think it's the realism.. it used to be funny when it detaches itself from realism. As the game progresses to better graphics and animations things just get real and too gore for me.

1. Alien flying lizard henchmen, which i'm pretty sure prominent in many moebius comics.

2. the CG, art direction.. man, I could've sworn in some scenes I thought it copied from one of the comic. It's very refreshing since we never really get to see many sci-fi+fantasy mix movie. Visually it's awesome!

3. the story is…

It looks like one of my heavy metal stories come to movie, which is good enough for me. I really wish they put some decent effort on the story though.
My biggest question is : how come this movie can be made but we never get a dune remake :(
