well, cmiiw.. ambidextrous is one thing, but afaik nobody has an ambidextrous eyes if there's such a thing. To aim you need your dominant eye/aiming eye and that can be only left/right, it'll be weird if you change how you aim with the other hand and not the aiming eye.
