A new, young mail carrier thought it was mistreatment that they should deliver mail when it was raining outside. And honestly thought they should get to go home when it did. This from a mail carrier company in Sweden. So yeah, need more information about what type of mistreatment.

I just wanted to have more information. I do believe some shit happen in nearly every game studio. But I would like to know what, the term used here look like what the PR department would pull to escape a lawsuit.

I think going forward gamers attitudes towards companies “needs to change”. What i find so gross about so many of these findings is that the gaming industry exploits our need for simple, likable narratives and heroes when there are likely none to be found.

For most people playing most games? Absolutely nothing.

Acknowledging that the left has a unique tendency to eat it’s own over the heresy of small differences doesn’t make one right wing. It’s showing basic awareness.

I feel like this article could be more clear that these accusations are not related to Sexual Abuse/Harassment. Why mention “especially” women and give no specific or even general examples?

Some people are just bad at managing others.  I’ve known people who were otherwise great but once in any kind of management role they just seemed to forget how to interact with people.

Doing game development at home sounds horrible though. Especially for the animation teams and anyone who has to do rendering while also not connected to a huge server through Ethernet. Doing all that through wifi probably takes double the time. Other things like programing and QA are probably about the same from home 

Considering most of us won’t be able to easily get a PS5 until at least 2022, I’m okay with this delay (especially if it helps the developers).

I mean, I get what you’re going for, but I don’t think ‘doesn’t play less than AAA games’ is necessarily a requirement for ‘is disappointed by the delay of a AAA game’. You can be disappointed you’re not getting something specific even if you already have other things you could play - even other things you’re also…

I actually thought its release date was 2022 anyway. Hooray for misinformation preventing disappointment!

Sucks but I’d rather play a well polished game next year than a broken game this year.

At this point, so much stuff has been delayed I honestly thought this already had been as well. If you’d asked me yesterday when Horizon Forbidden West was due out, I would have said ‘Q2 2022, I think?’

Well, this was basically THE game left that hasn’t been delayed or cancelled altogether I was super keen to play on a new gen console, so now I’m totally not fussed I’m not likely to get my paws on one any time this year. Silver lining.
