Speaking as someone who first played it about a year or two ago, it holds up shockingly well. Is it perfect? No, but I had a great time, and I usually can’t stand old games.

The problem with the Meat Circus is that it was intended to be a puzzle level where you figure out which powers make the challenges much easier, but they didn’t clue that enough so most players just tried to brute-force platform everything, which was frustrating. The Double Fine website (tongue in cheek) put it like

Erm, isn’t the 20% VAT a big reason for that?

well it was alot of word to Say “We don’t Know”

Well at least you’re aware of it. I am one of those people. But I don’t want others to feel the same sense of emptiness at all, and I can’t speak for others who use video games as a replacement for accomplishment in real life, but my take on this is simply that I have faith in the developer. All I want is a game

Holy fuck this comment is so bad it’s almost unbelievable.

What? I just said that it’s great that some games only appeal to casuals gamers and that I’m against removing difficulty sliders to games that already have them even if it hurts my personal enjoyment. Difficulty is NOT always easy to implement in a way that keeps the game fun and balanced, I’m not going to repeat my

Anyone insisting that all games on the market should be enjoyable to them is entitled whether that be insisting easy games be harder or hard games be easier. Assuming you know better than the developers is true entitlement. That doesn't mean you can't complain about accessibility, it just means you don't want to

There are plenty of ways to make games more accessible to differently abled people besides difficulty sliders. Text to speech, subtitles, visual indications of sound, colorblind modes and so on. With adaptive controllers even most physical limitations can be overcome. Accessibility is about being able to play a game,

GTFO with this terrible take. I have a very fulfilling job and I also enjoy hard video games. If you don’t that’s fine but stop projecting please, it’s offensive.

As a disabled player who has no desire to take anything away from players who like (and are able) to play at more challenging levels): go jump in the lake.

Im not sure why people think you’re trolling when you’re making an argument for more difficulty options. I also 100% agree, I loved odyssey but felt like I was just breezing through all but the most challenging sections on autopilot

Yea I do, which I greatly appreciate. But they do lack the polish and “N” magic that Nintendo brings

Like Super Mario Bros U., Odyssey, and Galaxy 1 and 2. Yup, played and 100% them. Wish they were harder.

I think Mario games should be harder. Way too easy. They turn me off from having fun in them.

What an absolutely weird and baseless take on these games and difficulty in games.

I believe Sekiro was unbalanced alot, walking and killing through the level wasnt preparing you for Boss Figth.

Or they just find it fun to overcome challenges in the games they play? Awfully judgmental of you.

Disabled gamers have repeatedly came out and said this is bullshit. Stop using disabled gamers as an excuse for your entitlement/laziness.

Since releasing 2009’s Demon’s Souls on the PlayStation 3, From Software has carved out a niche in the gaming world for its unique brand of unforgiving combat.
