This is true of every platform holder.

And then someone else will swoop in and say “actually it’s 24bit because it is 8-bit per RGB component” or maybe even “actually it’s 64bit because the executable is for x86-64 processor”.

It’s not fair use. Monetary aspects are only part of how fair use is decided.

kids these days seeing these graphics would be like.. “awesome i love 8 bit!”  old geezers like us would say “this is 32 bit”

Yeah, but a demo? If I were doing it, I’d wait and put the whole thing up, and then take it down after the c&d. Knowing that it’d be impossible to bury by then.

Ugh, I hate how Kotaku skips covering a ton of original games, then the writers piss and moan about lack of originality or they then go and complain and talk about piracy.

Make your own game so you can have complete ownership of it!

So for years people have been remaking, updating, etc. Nintendo properties and for literally just as long Nintendo puts out C&D’s every single time so why do people continue doing it? Is it in hopes that their work will be picked up by Nintendo like how CS was picked up by Valve or is it simply for the

You misunderstand. The lack of tech literacy meant that the world as a whole had far fewer assholes communicating with each other constantly because there was fewer of EVERYONE communicating with each other constantly. Once social media largely removed the tech barrier, the previously isolated assholes, bigots, and

I quit using facebook a few months ago (except to log in to shit). I thought it was keeping me connected with people I’d have no other way to stay in touch with, but dropping it cost me nothing. Huh, no wonder my depression never got worse. I took one look at social media a la MySpace, Facebook, Twitter et all and noped right into the next plane of existence.

Because at the end of the day, after I put down the games, I’d scroll through Twitter, catching up on the latest death tolls and pandemic news, the open pit in my stomach steadily growing.

I also want to say the it isn’t exclusively American’s who don’t give a fuck about other people. Canada and more specifically Alberta is more of the same thing.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news (well, bad for you, because I hugely dig the compilation), but Final Fantasy VII Remake was already incorporating elements of both Before Crisis and Crisis Core in the form of both narrative references and easter eggs. And the Yuffie chapter being added this summer appears to focus

“What? Stadia has started its descent into an unsupported, anti-consumer mess of a shit show? Who would’ve thought?”

I agree. I also don’t get why you’d pass up doing a loyalty mission. It was clear that they became more solid as a team when you did that.
The only people I lost in Mass Effects series’ was the girl at the beginning (i flip flopped between her and the guy with each chance to save one or the other until one finally

I think the thing to keep in mind is that it’s very easy to make one mistake, especially since the game tries to trick you at points by having characters volunteer for jobs they’re not good at, or downplay the risks.
