These are the roles Emma Stone was made for!
I would guess that Campion is so used to being doted on and cherished as the special only child after the deaths of his original siblings (and the show alluded that he was Mother’s favorite child even before that) that he’s mostly just having a difficult time adjusting to this new social situation. He’s also been told…
Mr. Robot has finally gone Full Evangelion
I did think it was odd that Laurie had no reaction when someone casually revealed that Manhattan was Angela’s husband. And her role in the season as a whole was diminished a bit by this episode as she really had no purpose in the story other than being witness to what was going on.
Paul W.S. Anderson, everyone.
Jesse apparently settled in my town so I’ll keep my eyes out for him. He’s probably picking up some carpentry work for the winter, found himself a dry cabin to rent for just a little too much, and looking around to deckhand in the summer. He’s going to fit in pretty well, actually.
Absolutely loved it. I really wish we saw Jessie settled in where ever he was going but I can live with this. It really wrapped up so many loose ends from one of the best shows ever made. I especially loved the mention of Lydia being in the hospital and probably wont live. Just perfect!
Areyou referring to the time he quoted Jane Elliot as having said,” ‘Michael, a uterus doesn’t qualify you to be president of the United States’,” and then he continued to say,” ‘you have to be- you have to have a policy that’s reflective of social justice.’ Paying women a fair wage is social justice. Making sure that…
You’re right, I was too harsh. It’s also got a great white boy raggae scene and some wonderful parks to be homeless in with your pitbull.
It’s not all that bad, at least when it’s not on fire and the tweakers aren’t stealing your lawnmower.
Well, it’s still a goal.
Artists like Fleet Foxes, Father John Misty and Bon Iver have certainly moved me away from big city ambitions like LA, SF and NYC and shifted me to a goal of living in rural or semi-urban areas like Mediterranean France, Northern California and rural British Columbia.
I mocked the Cleganebowl hype for years but damn I was actually riveted by that whole thing. And poor Hound going into the fire! Ouch.
I love Will Smith and I love Ang Lee so I’m down for this. But that deaging was really throwing up my uncanny valley response. I hope it’s still just early special effects and will look better in the actual movie.
Remember. We’re the real villains in all this because we didn’t create Facebook or something.
The book American Psycho has trump in it. And not in a particularly good way.
It’s become an increasingly pressing question in this world of miniseries that end up being less mini than initially …
Oh, honey, no.
Thanks for exactly encapsulating my feelings. They’re peerless craftsmen, and if you like nihilistic black comedy (or just nihilism in general) then they’re great, but, god, life is meaningless and we’re all doomed, so can we at least have media that makes us feel a little good?
