Yeah, doesn't sound all that appetizing. Maybe, maybe in the fridge (and probably not), but I can't see using this anywhere else. The fact that it was never intended to be used near food makes me question just how safe / delicious any food would be after this encounter.

This seems like a good way to make some backups, if done manually.

$5.00 to fill some gaps that Netflix streaming has? Absolutely. Once I get the Google-based free VoiP figured out and buy a digital converter for our old tube, this will save a lot of money each month.

Like it or not, app stores are the future. Even with the store "owner" getting a piece, it cuts down on a lot of the logistical overhead for developers.

I felt a pang of regret the weekend before this game came out, since I opted to pre-order Fable 3 instead. (Had to make a choice, budget too tight for two collector's edition pre-orders right now...)

Say what you will, that seems much nicer than my Eee 901 with a 64GB RunCore, and isn't THAT much more expensive.

"I hate to see a piece of history, such as this piece, fade away like that."

I preordered this some time ago. Fable II was fun (in my opinion) so this should at least be amusing. Already have a

Wish I knew the price, but it is undoubtedly less than the countless quarters I spent on the arcade version...

@Nethlem: Gamestop gets my money if I go through them. I suppose I wasn't clear, but I meant more the Craigslist or eBay purchases where there isn't a retailer.

@Batman: Agreed on the DLC, that's why I bought DA:O Awakening physical. (Also because of a promo code that cut the cost way down, think I may have found it here!) That's one area where I just try to accept it, purchasing the DLC on the console that isn't "mine," and then downloading it on my own. Also why I try

@Steinin: "Is your point that people would buy more new copies on consoles if they were cheaper?" I believe so, yes.

@Batman: I totally understand the licensing issue, but examples like this one are a bit more than simply the upfront cost.

...incoming wall of text.

@bakagaijin: I have to disagree. A lot of the time, I don't care what a reviewer liked about a game. I don't want to read about the plot. I am already interested, and the blue section is just extra validation for my preexisting desire to purchase the game. On the other hand, the red section is where I immediately

This is of far more interest to me as a handheld Linux (assuming that is what it is running) machine than as a "gaming" device.

@TechnicAli: Here's my version of that cat photo.
