Wow, you were not kidding! That change list is gargantuan, and there’s some huge changes hidden in there! Can’t wait to get home to try it out and see how this all affects things.

I’ve never seen an announcement that was simultaneously so shocking and yet so underwhelming before.

Now playing

Based on reactions I’ve seen online, the ads are not representative of the game in any way, so don’t overthink the specifics. But that said, yes, it’s some kind of American-VN-type thing. KittyKatGaming played it for a while, if you want a demo:

For real. We can all enjoy things in our own way. Fandom’s big. It’s OK if we don’t all agree about what aspects we like about a thing.

Hmm… Metzen has always been closely identified with the World of Warcraft character Thrall. To what extent do you suppose some of the shit Thrall’s been going through since Cataclysm (having his mind shattered and repaired, getting married, dealing with the legacy of his past actions, having kids) is Metzen trying to

Good on him. It takes a lot of self-awareness and courage to come to that kind of conclusion, especially in the face of the kind of pressure to keep going that he was facing. I really hope he’s able to put his life and mind back in order now. So long, and thanks for all the games, Chris Metzen.

It is my experience that it depends entirely on what your problem actually is. RSIs and carpal tunnel can express themselves very differently depending on the patient’s physiology and typing habits. For me, an ergonomic keyboard with a low activation force and a vertical mouse were the ticket to curing my pain, but

but perhaps teenagers are smarter than we assume

Seconded. Until then, I’ve been making do with a Truly Ergonomic Keyboard. The layout is super-unusual, but it ultimately puts more at my fingertips, a bit like a Nostromo, and the clever way the Home/End/Page keys are laid out effectively gives me a second set of arrow keys for games.

It’s for the 3DS version. I don’t think there even is a Wii U installment of Animal Crossing.

The path to unlocking the hidden artifact appearance for ret paladins is legit my favorite thing about Legion so far. (spoilers follow)

THERE’S A NEW ZACHTRONICS GAME?!? Well, I know what I’m playing this weekend now.

Is Lostorage incited WIXOSS not like its predecessors? i.e. History’s most emotionally traumatic anime about a children’s card game? The summary makes it sound like it’s just a generic card battler this season, which would be a huge disappointment.

If we’re thinking of the same speedrun, that was Super Mario Bros. 3, which could be glitched by exploiting a flaw in its input polling. Since Super Mario Bros. doesn’t do double input polling, I don’t believe it’s susceptible to the same trick.

If you’ve only eaten American, Hershey’s Kit-Kats, I encourage you to try one from any other country. They’re dramatically better when Nestle makes them. Not better enough to fully explain the Japanese obsession with them, but better enough to almost be a different candy bar.

I agree with everything you just said about Peeple, but damn, did you really need to throw so much hate at the tech industry? Most of us aren’t social-network-crazed maniacs who can’t see outside the startup bubble and believe in our own inherent moral infallibility. We’re just nerdy working schlubs who turn coffee

In all this time, it never dawned on me that comments just go through MiiVerse, but Nintendo only auto-stars the level if I post through Mario Maker. Thank you for pointing this loophole out!

I don’t think that fear is coming true at all. There are tons of great and creative levels, it’s just that the super-hard stuff is getting a lot of the press coverage lately, mostly thanks to PangeaPangea’s quartet of villainous levels that came out in rapid succession. If you only read Kotaku and check out the
