I think the genre has shifted enough that meta-progression is the norm.

Ugh. Its not a rogue-like if it has meta-progression. Its a rogue-lite.

There, I said it, you can flame me now <3

This is a great comment response.  Kudos from a fellow engineer.

I had a conversation with my father-in-law (a medical device salesmen) in July, where he told me that I needed to get with his other son-in-law on some air-quality devices, since demand is up due to the pandemic (we both happen to have experience in engineering air-handling equipment in non-medical industries). I

Well in Canada and the USA, we have nothing available in volume.   Only the odd specialty models from companies like Workhorse.

reminds me of the solar opposites episode where the kids are lamenting how they hate wearing shoes, and how odd it is that humans don’t flavour their ground. (as they taste with their feet)

1st Gear:  Coming out with an electric Transit is a great idea given that there are currently zero electric vans produced in volume for sale. Personally I think Tesla should come out with their own van... but that won’t happen until after they get the Cybertruck, Semi and new Roadster into production.

It overall mirrors the large movements of the market. You could probably swap in the S&P500 and get the same picture.

Totally agree. Also, railroads s make this autonomous thing pretty easy.

at this point it’s amazing it TOOK a pandemic for this to happen.

they can be recharged while unload/loading operations.

First: Ford’s got this one nailed. “Local delivery” is a perfect application for eVans, so they should excel here.  Maybe this makes up for the silly E-Mustang thing?

That their link to the “Today in History” feature still works on days when they don’t have something automotive to plug into that portion, and that’s the quickest glib joke the headline writer could come up with?

EPA certification usually happens towards the end of a launch if I remember correctly. I worked on the launch of the diesel F150 and we didn’t hear of the EPA cert the entire time I was there (I got moved to a different area right before the cars became saleable). There are usually a few hundred cars built up during

Even the new ones didn’t sell well comparatively, and those segments are shrinking no matter who is doing well in them.

I doubt they sold a million DCTs. And of those, most were fine.

What about propane stovetops? It’s safer (vapor instead of liquid), it gets hotter (better control and requires less consumption), and burns significantly cleaner than natural gas.  Due to our rural location, we use propane for our heat (High Efficiency Forced Air) and our stovetop. It’s significantly better than the

“How much?”, I hear you cry!

Tough titty. I’ll cook with gas until it is banned by law and a new induction cooktop, including all installation charges — so, replacement of my oven and a new countertop — are paid for by the government. And, I get to pick the new oven and cooktop. Also, my electricity rate is going to have to be as low as my gas

My biggest gripe is that so many kitchens seem to think a microwave fan is going to be a sufficient substitute for a vent.
