It was a tough role, as she had to make people buy her as a deus ex machina for Wayne and benevolent mogul, and then make it believable that she was actually the daughter of Ra's Al Ghul who was born in a Turkish prison, and an all-ot femme fatale. Considering that Carrie Anne-Moss was very good in a similar role in

If any place would have a commentariat familiar with this, it would be the AV Club, but I still feel compelled to recommend Nicholas Winding Refn's Bronson, mainly because Hardy is great in it, and uses much of the terrifying masculinity in it which made Bane so compelling.

Yeah… except why would they explain that Wayne fixed the autopilot? It is an interesting interpretation, but I just don't see it.

Exactly. The way I see it, though Bruce Wayne escaped, Batman did die in that explosion. It was what he needed to move past it.

WHY NO MCDONOUGH? Seriously, he was a great villain and worthy successor to Mags. I can accept the Parks snub because the comedy nods usually suck, but this is harder to accept for their otherwise mostly excellent drama nods.

Completely agree. Armond is at least fun to make fun of, Reed is just a horrible hack who makes me pissed off even when he likes a movie I like, because it's usually for some silly reason.

I enjoy the Ice King, because they seem to keep finding deeper depths to his neuroses, and Tom Kenny does a great job voicing him. I do agree with you on the annoying orange bullshit however, that shit requires U.N. intervention (ha!).

Mexican Blade Runner That's a perfect microcosm of the show.

Up until now, Roger was a very good character and Slattery was excellent in the role, but he was also a stupid douche who I would not want to talk to. He's been awesome this season though, as has Lane Pryce, slayer of smug assholes everywhere.
