I taught in STEM. We had a policy that homework and short-answer tests will be red-lined for grammar but the math and comprehension makes the grade, and long-form reports and essays will have 3%-5% for grammar and writing.

Its taken a hard swerve into the truly surreal, sometimes nightmarish, pure ridiculous side of humor and I love every minute of it.
