Old statement is that full sized trucks are 1/2 ton trucks, so 1000 lbs isn’t outside of the ratings even for a mid-70s truck

He’s great that way in The Fugitive, notably when the cops raid the house he’s renting in to arrest the owner’s drug dealer son and he breaks down after (thinking they were there for him). Earlier in the movie is one of the finest acting moments of his career, with the range of emotions that moves across his face when

Yeah, start a discussion about towing and you will see it even worse.

I think its less to do with assuming genital sizing and more to do with -IMHO- the kind of boring and monotonous association with bro-dozery trucks, including some of the new “factory” dozers and the fairly predictable kinds of men who drive these things. I think just about anyone who sees one of these knows who is

Found the guy with the big... truck.

As the author of one of those, I agree. The biggest issue with trucks is that they are big.

Agreed but can you imagine the headlines? “THE RADICAL WOKE LEFTISTS ARE COMING FOR YOUR TRUCKS!” Goddamn it... now I did it. This comment will probably be picked up and repeated on Fox before lunchtime.

Only making 4-door models.

My bike isn’t anything fancy, an old Giant, so I just lay it down in the bed, not worried about scratches.

Many of the truck mfrs are involved in towing wars. Higher towing limits require larger brakes, which require larger wheels. To maintain some semblance of ride quality, they need a lot of tire sidewall, which results in huge wheel/tire combos. To make that look right, they meed larger body panels.

Bicycle or Motorcyle? I can’t speak for a motorcycle but I put mountain bikes in the bed of my Chevy Colorado pretty regularly when I had it. Zero issues then, and definitely no issues with the short bed of my Silverado.

I have a bare bones basic 1996 Tacoma, the small version with a 5 speed manual. Bought it new. Back then nobody gave a shit about them. Just a small truck. But lately? People try to buy it off me all the time. It is super handy and I haul crap all the time. But man these new huge trucks? I’m not exactly tall and those

Their egos.

My dad has been a truck guy since I was a baby- worked in construction, does a lot of camping and woodworking- He’s literally the poster child (well, senior citizen) for trucks. But he got rid of his last f-150 about 10 years ago because “the damned thing was too tall to load”- he replaced it with a transit van. Which

I think you are missing the definition of an outlier, but that is okay. We all understand that you are one.

I see these articles all the time, but have never had any trouble loading or unloading the bed of my Ram. Am I missing something?

I mean the maps app on my phone remembers where I typically go on a given day so there’s no real escape.

There was an article on Gizmodo the other week that laid out how even though the government is prohibited from spying on us without a warrant, there’s no law preventing them from purchasing this data from brokers or the manufacture. It sounded like basically every dept in the federal government is doing this too with

Your replies show a stunning lack of awareness about how easily you can be tracked even with that stuff turned off.  Your data isn’t “safe” either.

Do you carry a cell phone? Congratulations; every single place you’ve set foot ever since you’ve got one is information that’s currently for sale.
