How? $1,200 doesn’t even cover the tax on a cheap car, much less make a dent on the cost of an expensive one. If they couldn’t afford an expensive car before, it’s hard to see how they could after. Even with just a 36 month loan, an extra $1200 will reduce the monthly payment by a a little over $30.
