Then wouldn’t any sports car be illegal, since do you really need 400+ HP in a two seater, rear drive car when a Prius would serve your “needs” so much better?

The 300 SL also fits the bill; but that’s not really an option for anyone.

True, but it at least made masking normal enough where people won’t be looked at like they have a third arm if they wear a N-95 mask in public to protect themselves.

No, because then you might as well expand it to best sports game. And then you have to decide which year of a particular annual game is the best.

Those don’t meet the criteria for this list.

Not just people, but a member of Congress.

More likely you can sell your body and organs to the filthy rich; why let those kidneys go to waste?

I had one and had high hopes for it, but it died in less than a month. So I went back to my Shuffle, and still use it regularly.

I agree; unfortunately, worker’s comp laws aren’t there to benefit the employee.

Hopefully their lawyer is brushing up on the “affluenza” defense.

Right, for 95% of the driving most people do, 100 miles of range, charged at home overnight, is just fine. But people don’t always make rational decisions based on the 95% of actual driving they do. For example, they buy a 1 ton truck for the two times a year they tow a trailer. Until people are assured that an EV

trump didn’t have a law degree. Neither do the likes of Boebert and Green.

It’s how worker’s comp laws work. Can’t sue an employer or fellow employee, with few exceptions. People injured at work are rarely ever fully compensated. The only upside being strict liability, so if you are injured at work, at least you don’t have to worry about proving your employer or co-worker were at fault.

The dealer is presumably paying for the defense as part of the indemnification order. The owner’s insurance likely paid for the cost of obtaining the indemnification.

Yes, it’d be so much better if people with no legal training drafted laws.

Just needed one of those Discman to cassette adapters to play in the Walkman.

Reminds me of the Puma, but not so ugly.

The opinion overturning Roe doesn’t say that abortion is illegal or unconstitutional. It only says that laws banning abortion are not unconstitutional; i.e., states or the feds are free to enact laws making abortion illegal. It has no effect on any law allowing abortion, nor does it make abortion illegal in states

You don’t need an amendment to make abortion legal. To make it illegal, you would have needed an amendment or, as it about to happen, a Supreme Court opinion overturning Roe v. Wade.

Roe and its progeny were based on the concept of “viability”—that is, when a fetus could survive outside the womb, usually around 24-26 weeks.
