I think demand will rise and fall, depending on how well charging infrastructure keeps up with BEV production. What’s the point of being able to charge to 300 miles of range in 10 minutes if there’s a 2 hour line at the charging station?

If you go on any enthusiasts forum you’ll see a disproportionate number of complaints from angry owners. Even Tacoma forums are full of people complaining about build quality and reliability issues.

I got the equivalent of those on my new Tacoma, as a port-installed option. I didn’t really want them, but I’m glad I did now that I have it. They weren’t too bad either, only about $250.
