Don't worry, UtD will never reach the level of quality of S2. It will continue to putz around the quality of Lost S3 with the general lunacy of Lost seasons 4-6.

Was I the only one who enjoyed Julia's screaming and crying and general hysteria at the beginning? I thought it was hilarious. What's the opposite of an Emmy?

The difference between a good episode of UtD and a bad episode isn't the quality. It's always unfathomably stupid. The difference is how fun it is. This episode was just boring. I've enjoyed every episode so far this season, but this one was just boring.
Also, couldn't Sam have killed Norrie instead? Can we just go

What more could this episode have done to earn an A+? There should be a rule that if it almost August and you can't name any three episodes of TV that were better this year then you have to give it an A+.

Maybe, but I think if that was the case Joe would have said as much by now considering he says every thought that pops into his head. …and also anything he sees happen …and sometimes just flat out repeats other people's dialogue five seconds after they get done saying it.
I'm afraid there isn't a thought that has

"Norrie, you're being a bitch." While ever still guilty of stating the obvious, this is at least the first necessary line Joe has ever had in the series.
I'm counting this as progress for Joe.

You should watch it. It's hilarious.

So the point is that he's a terrible lead character for a movie? As far as the latter half goes about rediscovering his humanity, that is basically false. You can make that argument somewhat if you're solely talking about Halo 4 but not the first trilogy.

Why? Characters with zero personality make for pretty boring movies.

Does that mean it will end up on his next album?

This was the best season of 24. When they first started talking about bringing the show back I was unsure if it was really worth it despite the partial bounce back in seasons 7 and 8. But this season was everything anyone could have possibly wanted from the show. It was fresh and new and exciting yet still classic 24

At the end of this season I think I'm going to compile all the clips of the Surface tablets into a montage. Any song suggestions?

The most unrealistic aspect of this show: everybody has Windows 8 Surface tablets.

The really crazy part was when Ted later "mercy kills" Mother in the hospital, then strolls her out onto his boat and drives straight into a hurricane, then swims out of the hurricane to become a lumberjack.
It's OK though, cuz the kids are with Aunt Robin in Argentina.

I still got my Community, but I still must say it:
Fuck NBC.
They're on my permanent shit-list.

I wish more than any other show that AV Club would do episode reviews.

A B-? Did you watch the episode!?! It's a solid A. The show is so dumb and stupid you can't help but admire and enjoy it. It's like starting Lost at season 4. The show was never going to be good. The premise pretty much guaranteed that. I'll be damned though if you can name a show that is so utterly brazen in it's

*cough*Seasons 4-6*cough*

If that wasn't a summation of the entire series I don't know what is.

Nice try, asteroid trying to destroy all human civilization. Community lives!
