This feels like old Jalopnik and I am here for it...

Buying it.

Its not even a question. I have waited a long time to replace my 2014 WRX STi Hatch.

This is absolutely perfect.

You can drive whatever giant, high CG, soft suspension vehicle with its spare 1,000 pounds that you want. Just get the hell out of the left lane, I’m using it better than you are.

“Complicate, then add bloatedness”

Jalopnik: We hate people with money, cars, trucks and EVs But we love brown stickshift wagons, reposting 7 year old posts and slideshows.

Any modern looking racing wheel that someone puts on a classic muscle car.

Oh boy! The car they killed the Subaru STI for....

Since all the tectonic plates float on magma, we all live on boats too and are not subject property tax.

Oh fuck oh fuck oh fuck oh fuck oh fuck

If you think you need an SUV, you need a minivan.

Formula 1 is not interesting. Not going to give people shit for watching it but I’m pretty damn tired of people telling me I should.. it’s just not interesting to me OK?

A sports car isn’t a sports car unless it has THREE pedals and a shifter. Mashing little flappy pedals on the steering wheel steering and pushing the gas hoping the computer does the right thing, does not a sports car make.

Agree, and just put my $$$ where my mouth is and bought a new Volvo V60

Now playing

BMW’s future styling direction is genuinely abysmal - on track to be the worst in the U.S. market within this decade, and the sole thing that will keep the company afloat is brand recognition (because it sure as shit isn’t going to be reliability or heat seaters that require a fucking subscription).

The scammers have been out in force these last few years trying to capitalize on the new eco pedestrian urbanism movement. The Hyperloop, that stupid train pod thing, flying taxis, and now a gondola.

Just build some fucking trains. Proper long distance rail, light rail, metros, and raised track systems.

But its smaller trains and much lower depths make it a nightmare for any claustrophobes.

It’s better than Tesla sedans in a tunnel driven by a human, that’s for sure.

This.  Why this guy thinks he needs a go fund me is beyond me.  I also don’t buy that he put a new engine in a, what, 6 or 7 year old Subaru?  The Tesla was almost certainly well-insured, being a rental, so I have no clue why this guy needs cash from strangers to fix something that should be covered by insurance.

Unpainted plastic wheel well surrounds.

Black interiors. Boring, shows up every flake of dust and turns into an EZ bake oven in the summer.
