It might not be that simple, the vehicle may not have an option to disconnect it from the Stellantis servers, and may make you agree to a EULA before you can even drive the car. They may even do it at the dealers so you cant buy the car without signing a EULA. We live in a dystopia.

I hate Teslas but honestly I believe them. It looks like the driver mistook the gas for the brakes. It could have also been a scenario like the Camry “Sticky Throttle” issue where he has oversized and/or unsecured floor mats that depressed the gas pedal.

Diesel is far superior to EV or Gas for towing purposes and will be for a long, long time. Look up Hoovie’s towing test with his new Lightning. EV trucks just aren’t there yet. I agree I hate the sooty, smelly diesel exhaust but its so much more efficient than any other alternative at the moment.
