1.63 Million?? With an M? For what? A Local Motors Rally Fighter? It has the exact same purpose and even looks quite similar, but what part of this is worth 1.63 million dollars? For that it better be made of diamonds and gold

What happened to simplify and add lightness? This is a four door, high riding, high center of gravity SUV that will most likely weigh over 4,000 pounds. Even the hideous and embarrasing Mach-E starts at 4,400 and goes up from there. Lotus has never, ever, EVER been about 0-60 or practicality. Handling, agility, and…
I’m not sure this will be a popular opinion but these posts are really, really lazy. Most of the writing comes from commenters, not the writers, and then a picture and a one sentance response are just tacked on. This isn’t journalism, this isn’t interesting, and this certainly isn’t Jalopnik. Why read this post when I…
idk I had a Volvo XC90 (2004, 2.5t) that ran absolutely beautifully for 15 years. All depends how you treat your cars
-Teslas are criminally overrated, as are Mercedes and BMW
Dont even joke about that

Honestly I dont get it either. The entire appeal of classic cars is more than just the bodywork, its the classic engineering and mechanics of old cars. Hearing a classic V8 in a mustang to the angry buzz of a MR2 is part of the experience. Im glad theyre not ruining actual mustangs for this but its just weird to me.
Dodge still sells a sizable amount of cars. Cant walk more than 20 feet in any major US city outside of cali without tripping over Chargers
This is the correct answer. I cant agree with you more lol
I’m just going to go with brands that have pretty much always been rebadges that have really never been signifigant to anyone. GMC is first to go, as besides the Typhoon/Cyclone, they have done absolutley nothing except staying around while Pontiac was killed off. Second was just as easy, Infiniti. Someone name an…
THIS! Toyota says they dont want to invest in a sports car that will be low volume, low demand but cost a ton BUT THEN THEY DID IT WITH THE LC ANYWAY. They even have a turbo 6! Just throw a targa top on it, add more boost, call it the supra and everyone wins!
They have one. The Lexus IS is rear wheel drive, availible with a V8, made entirely by Toyota and weighs less than 3,700 pounds. Turn it into a coupe, ditch some weight and and drop in the 3.5 Twin Turbo from the LS (which makes more power than the BMW unit) and BOOM new supra.
Nah the Zenvo looks good imo. Maybe even a little plain coming from a small supercar company.
I suggested this when they asked knowing they wouldnt pick it but yea, its hideous. Looks like they went through the parts bin from all their other road and track cars and just grabbed their favorite parts. I imagine the scene from American Auto was based off of the styling from the Senna.
I stand with my suggestion for the McLaren Senna, its ugly.
You just named maybe my three favorite American cars, with the exception of the Vector W8
Orrrr hear me out. Get a small, somewhat offroad capable SUV or Wagon. Jimny if Europe, RAV-4 V6 / XC70 if U.S., put a canoe on the roof and a sleeping bag in the back. Thats it. Youre done. No pedaling, charging, folding wheels up, the interior space is much larger and it is MUCH safer should something happen on the…
The problem is charging times. 8-10 hours on a normal charger is completely unacceptable, even the 30 minute supercharger is long compared to the 3 minutes it takes for a gas car. Thats ignoring the fact that EVs STILL dont work in winter, at least not at all compared to a ICE powered car
“Beggs countered that by saying that EVs may last longer, so the cost savings would be seen over time. But Beggs is frustrated with the department’s aversion to EVs.”
