I think the 2004 (11th gen; 2004-2008) was a pretty bad iteration for Ford. Even the 2006 Honda Ridgeline beat it out in most categories. It was probably due to that fact that Ford decided to start upping its game in the truck market.

ford wants the appearance of a well engineered product, not a well engineered product. doing the right thing is too expensive.
Not a chance. The 460 is going to do 9-10mpg at best fully unloaded and going easy on it.
Precipitation doesn’t go up.
I really want tax by vehicle weight to not only be a universal thing, but actually be enough to cause most people to shy away from unnecessarily heavy vehicles, and encourage automakers to actually innovate instead of phoning it in an just being ok with “heavy it is.”
Model 3. (Really all Teslas).
Koru (Maori for loop or coil) is one of the most important symbols of Maori traditions, representing new life, spiritual growth, and progress. The spiral design of the Koru symbol represents a sprouting fern, which springs from the folds of the earth is believed to represent survival and existence. Maori civilization…
Why not both?
I get that a million dollars sounds like a great amount of money for helping out, but divided among all the people affected isn’t that just like, a little more than bus fare?
Heather Firemist is the most creative name for a stripper ever. The car is not (quite) worth 14K. ND
Well its Tampa Bay so no surprise. Florida in general is starting to look more like the 4th Reich by the day.
Zero protection by the cops too. ACAB - this “accident” happened by my house, the guy was hit hard enough that the WHUMP I heard from my livingroom caused me to walk three houses down to see what it was. I was traumatized to see the dead man beyond any hope of help and a car stopped at least 100 feet away. A couple…
We really need to adjust our roads if we want cyclists to actually use their bikes to commute. Take a page from the Dutch. Turn the parking lane next to the sidewalk into a protected (put in K-rails, not just bollards) bike lane and either don’t allow parking on that street, or repurpose a traffic lane as parking.…
In the US, the Golf used to be the Rabbit, then the Golf, and now it’s not really a thing anymore. So here I could sort of see it, if the ID.4 creates enough of a brand identity in EVs. But the rest of the world? Lunacy.
3rd Gear. Used to work in the Vegetable Oil Industry. Planning factor for how much oil you get back is 75%, so 30 Million tons. New sells for roughly $1.00 per pound. So Roughly 82 Billion $ in China sales if I got my math right. Big part of the company was getting and reselling the waste oil. Most of it went into Bio…
I had a pair of lights mounted under my bumper on my old truck. They were tied into the reverse circuit, but I also could activate them via switch. It worked great.
I’d want some kind of trompe l’oeil effect that makes the whole van look like something else, like a Star Trek TOS shuttlecraft or a runaway covered wagon.
