Can somebody explain in layman’s terms some of the engineering going on here? What is the difference between this and both regular jet engines and prop engines and what are the potential advantages? This is what i clicked on this article hoping to find.

This, plus:

So sad that no one really made good looking hybrids until recently. Even Honda made Civics and Accords fugly and all the Clarities are just weird. To the credit of the Prius, it’s ugliness made Tesla and other EV companies try harder to make a good looking EV so that the reaction wasn’t the same.

That is a problem that can be solved with insurance. I expect fewer claims and larger settlements. But just wait until you are sued because you weren’t using self driving tech and therefore 90% more likely to get into an accident....

We’re close to retiring to Costa Rica, so we’re shopping the “forbidden fruit” vehicles that aren’t available in the US and I’m currently drooling over the idea of buying a Suzuki Jimny.

I really want a wagon since I don’t need a crossover suv or truck and my options are limited so I been thinking about like a Subaru Outback or a used Volvo wagon

Mostly. In heavy hydrogen there can be a neutron as well.

This is a plot to a Michael Crichton book.
