Yeah, adding circuits to an existing panel to create a subpanel is straight forward. OP’s problem is that their isn’t room in their main panel to add another circuit as 220V will take up 2 slots he doesn’t have. More often than not, replacing your main panel requires a licensed electrician due to a either local code,…
