I looked at the Maverick hybrid, but it wasn’t doing the job(s) for me. The Powerboost F150 4x4 was more what I was looking for, but crikes are they expensive.

I back the trailer to the start of the ramp, then stop. I don’t get the truck/rear wheels anywhere near the “ramp” part of the ramp.

It was a money laundering op. I worked in one many many years ago, but it was a regular European import repair shop. We did do work on Mercedes, mostly the ones owned by the guys who would hang around the shop watching Russian hunting videos. Most of what we did was put cars on container ships to sell them overseas in

Jet Ski comes from Kawasaki! Yamaha has “Wave Runner”. Bombardier, creator of the Ski-Doo, created the Sea-Doo brand. They’re all sea-doo as far as I’m concerned. Floating turds.

They want you to see the “663 horsepower” and think it’s putting that out any time you demand. If you are towing up I-70 yeah

I just came here to hate on jet skis. Or water cockroaches as we call them.

Yeah but look at how much leg room that kid has in the back. Crew cabs rule.

I have no idea. I think the Cook County property taxes were making operations there a losing proposition.

I meant late 60's, early 70's, not mid sixties.

Any Mid-sixties GM “SS” clone. Chevelle SS, Malibu SS, Camaro SS, Nova SS, etc etc.. And they’ll insist it’s a numbers matching original SS, but it’s not. Some flipper made a convincing clone and they bought it and cherished it, and are none the wiser.

Come on Mick, just sing “Brown Sugar”

I saw a van with a bumper sticker that read:

Brundle asks the questions nobody wants to ask, and nobody wants to hear the answer to. He means well, I guess. I mean, he’s gotta do something for a living.

Klein Tools used to be down the street from me in Lincolnwood, IL. Their factory employed hundreds of skilled workers in die making, forging, heat treating, metallurgy etc. They moved to Plano, TX with promises of lower COL, lower taxes, a chance to own land instead of renting etc. The company got big tax breaks from

That’s pretty common. If there’s no one to tell you otherwise or provide a wider perspective, you end up believing what everyone else believes. Southern state workers are union averse from the top down. Federal workers on the other hand, may think differently. The NFFE has represented hundreds of thousands of Federal

I do feel like there’s not enough protection on that bridge to have a race under it. A bit of film on the glass isn’t going to stop someone from throwing an object or themselves onto the track. Humans need to be caged to prevent them from harming others or themselves.

Or, God forbid, a car wreck. Oh wait.

Well that’s at least competitive. I find most of Michigan to be pretty inexpensive compared to say, Chicago area where I live. But YMMV.

I agree. Get that old smogged 305 out of there and make it handle well and go fast. Maybe a “Connect and Cruise” Chevy crate motor + trans. I like the NASCAR “tribute car” restomod for these, with yellow letter-wall Goodyears, right-side exit boom tube, window bracing/perspex and a quickfill fuel door.  The I’d keep

Low wages, anti-union, tax breaks and cheap/nearly free real-estate, very few environmental regulations and nobody to enforce them, business-friendly GOP politicians - making deals in the South is easy for big businesses.
