I may have some drawings around here (nope) from when I was a kid imagining how I would make a transmission work. Basically it was a CVT, with a belt that rode on tapered pulleys just like a scooter transmission, which I later found out was already invented way before I got to it. So yeah, this is an 11 year-old’s

Roadside stands with recycled coke bottles of gasoline are pretty common in some countries, esp where 2 wheelers are the main mode of transport. And coke is more plentiful than potable water.

“Union boss” is media parlance because it’s so close to “Mob boss”. That’s the association the owners of the media want people to make. They’re playing word-association games. The owners of the media companies can and do tell their employees what words to use. See also: newspeak

Where did he put $9000 worth of gas? Does he have a back-woods gas station with an old timey pump that he sells bootleg gas from? A race track?

This gear is not so expensive compared to quality foul weather gear I’d buy for sailing. Or mountaineering gear. Filson, Gill, Helly Hanson etc.

This era of Nissan was the coolest. They pretty much nailed the style of the 80's.

There’s big trouble with England’s economy that their politicians are either not aware of or not acknowledging. I’d wouldn’t be surprised if they were just ignorant of the problem. The business/capital investment in England is lower than any other G7 country. The morons destroyed their welfare system, and wages are

How you gonna pull the boat? The hitch looks like it was also installed wrongly.

Competition in a free market is supposed to make wages competitive, but the auto manufacturers are cartels and supranational oligopolies. You don’t see much difference in pay across company borders. It’s a free market in name only.

England left the EU and is not European. They think they’re special, which is a mistake.

yeah that ain’t right. It’s draggin. That should not be the case if someone competent redid the exhaust at some point. This looks like a non-exhaust guy tried to avoid the jump over the rear axle and took a short cut to side-exit pipes. I did that once, and it’s not a good idea. Put the pipes out the back where they

Except that in a casino, you know the odds favor the house in most games.

That Italian OHV (pushrod) 4 cylinder was used in some UAZ, Alfas and the slow, Diesel trim of the Rover SD (SD1). Probably easy to fix, but parts .. I don’t know.  That’s a lot of money, ND.

The previous 4.0 liter V6 in the Frontier was pretty good, not sure about the 2022 3.8 with direct injection. You can also still get it with a manual trans, unlike the 2024 Ranger :(
