Agreed, some science needed here. Typically when biologists or anyone with a science degree talks about organic molecules they mean the large complex organic compounds: carbohydrates, lipids, proteins and nucleic acids.

I am red/green color blind, but now that I look at it again, I think I’m just bad at colors. If I want to see brown, that’s what I see.

OMG yeah too annoying to watch. Jalopinions needs to go away.

It’s a brown, long-roofed simple vehicle that needs a trans rebuild and probably a clutch. I’m sure the brown-jeep-ness of it appeals to certain people, but not me. ND

Manual or slushy? They always tell me I don’t want a manual in the Virgin Islands, but I beg to differ. Traffic is the only place I don’t want a manual.

Right out, I agree. I’ve never watched one so I can’t tell if they’re any good. If they sound as annoying as they look, I’ll be sure to inform the mgmt.

I was looking for Land Rover LR3 and LR4's for a while. The internet waved me off those for good.

Yep, I seen it too. I guess everyone has to learn the hard way. If you HAVE a car that runs and drives, it’s a lot easier to walk away from the dealer without a new one.  I don’t know how to tell a kid to run a way from a car. They get star-struck on some POS Dodge that is just within their budget, but they don’t know

His name sounds like it should have a title in front of it.

Get back to work you automotive enthusiast! JK I’m at work too, Jalopnik is my go-to while waiting for systems to compile/restart.

Never EVER go to a dealership star-struck. Also, dream cars are really just not all that great if you have to work 2 jobs to save up for a rapidly depreciating commodity that’s being sold way above its value. It will break and stop feeling new, and you will not like it.  If they think I’m going to buy something and

How does one “take a trusted mechanic” when buying a car? I AM my trusted mechanic, so it’s easy, but how does one take an external trusted mechanic I mean. You could pay them for their time. I’ve never seen a dealer that would let me take the car to a shop and have it looked over. But most of the places I go are

All I’ve ever heard about the iQ is that it it’s horrible and never buy one at any price for any reason.

I see a lot of advertising for Fisker, which seems like a huge waste of money for Fisker. I also see advertising repeatedly for air freshener and for big ladies diapers which I can’t fucking fathom so Youtube’s algorithm is just fxing stupid.

I saw one on the road Saturday. I was in a particularly wealthy zone, so I also saw Lucid Airs, a really nice red Ferrari FF, high school kids driving Tesla Model X’s etc.

I could do without 75% of sports commentary, before during and after the race. The Goodwood racing commentators are decent. There should be an option to watch events without commentary now that you can’t watch F1 for free on TV anyway..

Seems like I’ve always been lacking speed in repairs. I only once had a problem with that on the job. Fucking Dodge Caravan rear drums were fighting me for 45 minutes because I didn’t have any brake tools of my own, lack of drum brake experience at the time.

I have never rebuilt an automatic, although I’ve helped with a few. I have overhauled some manuals, but I’d like to rebuild something like a C4, C6, TH400 etc and put in upgraded clutches and soft bits. Mostly I just drain and flush them, check for wear in the pan, put in some liquid rebuild and pray.

Yeah what the flying fuck is Martin Brundle going to ask celebrities? He’s an ex-F1 driver and commentator, not Robin Leach. Brundle asked Megan Thee Stallion to rap for him. Pretty sure she doesn’t take requests. Would Brundle walk up to Phil Collins and say “Come on Collins, give us ‘In the Air Tonight’, in its

That’s where they started, but the castings are not source from Ford anymore.
