For as much as I dislike LoL, this is awesome news. McNeil’s 40K books are fantastic.

Destiny, a video game in which players travel through space talking about how good
Much better than Hot Topic, the hipster-Millennial-shithole.
It feels good to be a PC playa, yo.
From what I’ve read, it seems very similar to TOR’s model. Personally, that model sucks. If Wildstar had come out around the same time as Blizzard releasing Burning Crusade or Lich King, things would have been very different.
Damn, that is nice!
No. However, I have also been very diligent about limiting their access, and blocking websites that they shouldn’t be using. This includes YouTube and Twitch. My eldest (9) is only now starting to use YouTube. While I have no interest in games like Hatred, they shouldn’t be censored. It’s the responsibility of the…
If Twitch has an issue with people streaming Hatred, they should ban that specific game, and supply specific reasons why that game runs counter to their policies. Banning all AO titles under the guise of keeping our safe spaces safe is ludicrous.
Exactly! It’s subjective at best.
If that’s the case, then they should ban all GTA games. I can watch streams for gambling as well. Why are those still available?
True, they aren’t “technically” excluding specific streamers. However, they are excluding fans of those games by banning the streams. If some special snowflake doesn’t approve of the game, they shouldn’t watch the stream. Why ruin it for the fans?
Pretty hypocritical for Twitch to claim they want to offer a safe, then ban AO games. I’m not a fan of them, and have no interest in watching streams of them, but it’s wrong to exclude a group regardless of personal preference.
Fraternity hazing is pointless too. However, somethings are tradition. Deal with it.
Further proof that GW2 is far superior to WoW.
I have one for my kids to play on. Keeps them safer than useless privacy tools Blizz provides.
They are, as long as it isn’t a knee-jerk reaction...like this case.
Very true. Every WoW patch as well.
LoL players are ridiculous. It’s difficult to take them seriously. However, Riot should have just told them to shut up and ignore it. Pandering to the vocal minority is the last thing they needed to do.
Everyone does it. The real issue is that the Patriots were caught. Suck it up, take the suspension, and learn to not get caught from now on.
Personally, Dark Age of Camelot had the best, and I’m still waiting for a game to give me that same feeling. GW2 kind of has it, but it needs a bit of work.
