Exactly. I will be buying Monster Hunter 4 regardless of what indie titles are out there. If something new and exciting pops on my radar, I'll check it out. Sadly, many indie devs have put themselves on pedestals.

I agree with you 100%. I have been very underwhelmed by this game, despite sites like Polygon, Destructoid, and Kotaku hailing it as the greatest thing ever seen or played. I have experienced better gameplay and enjoyment from franchises like Monster Hunter, Shadowrun, and Torchlight.
