Oh please. If Pokemon GO players didn’t have the attention span of gnats for this game they would have lost their entire userbase from the negative reactions to... Just about every newsworthy thing that has happened with the game so far.

Niantic needs to be fired. Not having dedicated bandwidth for an event of this scale after earning over $1,000,000,000 in a year shows that they are in way over their heads and are actively damaging the Pokémon brand with their incompetence.

I see Niantic is hard at work. But giving Lugia away to attendees, refunds, and Pokecoins probably still won’t enough to assuage people after they endured the dog’s dinner that is the Pokemon Go fest. I wonder how Nintendo is taking this whole PR mess.
