@DaedalRogue: LOL. As an Edmontonian I almost died when I read your post.

@izzitaspider: Well are you talking about school libraries, or public libraries? It sounds like you are talking about school libraries, and I would definitely agree that the focus should definitely be on educational materials, including fictional books (read, kids!).

I can only see this as a substitute for a one or two dimension directional input (pong, for example, is just up-and-down control), which alone has severe limitations on game control. Move around, but can't shoot sort of thing. Mind you, we've seen games recently with very limited controls, such as Wii Tennis, which

@Uckofay: Too bad it doesn't even remotely fit. Check those shoulder pads!

@VincentGrey: I think it's Brotherhood of Steel armor, but I know what you mean

You mean that's not Jerry in #1?

@Save me: Why do you say that, Save me? (I haven't played Torchlight, only heard about it.)

@Eternalbl: Steam, my friend, is your friend. Especially with the CAD so near the USD.

@Lurcher: Also it's a form of media entertainment, of which many (most?) books are, as well. So, really, where's the distinction? And if libraries can lend CDs/DVDs, they should also lend games.

@—Core—: Library needs to stick to books? Which are by definitition not "for entertainment and fun"?? Come on. Don't you know people read for both pleasure and education? (Not that there's always a distinction).

Wow, many of you are surprisingly against the entire concept of what a library offers: borrowing free media. How can this concept not be a great public service? I can buy a $12 membership and borrow all the books, magazines, movies, CD's and yes, VIDEO GAMES from the library. That's in Edmonton, by the way.

@cjsinobin: Is she voiced the same in the cartoons as AA? 'cause she was annoying to listen to I thought.

@Blore07: okay, but the rest of the world will know other villains better from the movies

@Kowl Slaw: You can use the regular HTML tag for I and B and U

@SonaliKlien: If people are buying things on impulse without any information, that's solely their problem.
