If you mark a playlist on the desktop app to sync with your device, it will do just that.

I gave the Premium flavor a go today and so far I like it a lot. However I will not be sending them my 10 dollars next month unless I figure out how to get some "Genius" like smart playlist capability. What is the point of have access to all this music, if I can't find it?
