Mow much could planting a GPS device on a car cost the tax payers? I would think that this was relatively inexpensive compared to other crap our government invests in, and one could argue that pro-active investigations like this are great deal if they keep Americans alive.

While I agree that baggages fees are just a clever way to keep the base fare artificially low, I don't think they do this to "trick" customers about the true cost of a flight. You got it correct, they do this so they can advertise the lowest fare possible.

I am not sure I understand all the airline industry hate. It is not like they making crazy profits and trashing the Gulf. They are barely making ends meet. TSA hate, I fully understand.

I've seen a few shuttle launches in my day, but I have never understood how they are able to execute the controlled roll while the boosters are still firing? Is the Shuttle providing all maneuverability? Controlling 44 million ponies with those stubby wings sounds like crazy talk.
