Agreed. The only thing that would make me nervous about a Lazarus adaptation is that I’d like to see how the story plays out in the comics before a show gets in front of it, and it’s all but inevitable that a show WOULD get in front of it. But that’s a dumb reason to not want a Lazarus show, I guess.

Which is a depressing thought.

I just hope Quint lands well. He’s been the only thing worth visiting AICN for for a long, long time now, but his stuff really HAS made it worth the occasional visit. He’s a thoughtful critic, and he writes fairly well. I’m just not sure there’s a lot of places left for him to go to.

Hey Aerostar! Cannon seems like a great dude - he was out here at Denver Con last year, and I had him sign my Absolute Top 10 and bought the first volume of Kaijumax from him. Chatted him up for a bit, and - yeah, seemed like a nice guy. Also - agreed Kinja is the pits.

Nice to see you good Sir Viking!

Nearest Drafthouse for me is about an hour’s drive, so I have to make it a special occasion sort of thing, but everything else really does pale in comparison.

*Maxwell Smart/Tennessee Tuxedo Voice* Missed it by that much.

Comfortably seated in the middle, right where I like to be in a theater. Unless and until I need to pee, in which case, I sometimes feel a bit stuck.

The seating is: Clowns to the left of me, Jokers to the right.

The Drafthouse is the best. That is all.

Yeah, that's my take too - it's possible to hold the ideals of feminism up and aspire to live up to them, but still fail and be a shit.

Amen. I grew up just south of Duluth, so I know exactly what you're saying. And it's a part of why I've never really been able to give it a chance.

I can somewhat work my way to a point of being able to accept the Hurley cover (even though it's goofy af), but that Raditude cover…

That's true; I guess I had forgotten about it. The covers for Hurley and Raditude are just stuck in my head for how overwhelmingly bad they are.

Man, outside of the "color" albums and Pinkerton, their album art has been almost uniformly terrible.

I feel safer already

Well - not the same genes as one of your parents, unless your parent and that aunt/uncle are identical twins. Outside of that circumstance, your parent would share an average of 50% of his/her genes with your aunt/uncle, and you yourself share 50% of your genes with your parent. So - roughly 25%.

The only stuffed animal that I had any affection for when I was a kid was Digger. What a weird show that was.

Rucka's two Queen & Country novels are pretty good, and required reading if you want to really follow the series, since they're canon.

Trump: I hate to rain on your parade, but you're not gonna last 17 hours! We're gonna go in there just like we did before, and we're gonna go in there, and we're gonna go in there and we're gonna GET you!
