Gah! Burn it! Burn it with fire!

Yeah, if you really just look at what's been put on screen, it doesn't really hang together at all, but like I said, I'm ok with just hand waving it away. ESPECIALLY in the service of writing Last Stand out of continuity.

Honestly the lack of a strict continuity doesn't really bother me that much. I'm good with "A wizard did it."

That only sort of works though. After the fact it's solid, but how was Charles there in the future at the START of DOFP? The real answer is just that they've never worried overly much about strict continuity in these movies.

The way I take it is that essentially, due to the events of DOFP, he had two different "versions" of a consciousness. The "unaltered" Logan is the version that was already hanging out in 197X. Then 2023 Logan's consciousness moves back through time and takes over the body for the events of the movie. At the

I mean - don't get me wrong - rent as a whole is getting pretty out of hand even in a lot of the boroughs - people end up having a longer and longer commute (if they're working in Manhattan) just to be able to afford to stay somewhere, and it IS a legit problem, but you can still get by for the most part with a decent

Aside to very depressed looking man who begins to follow Castle to the parking lot: "Hey - get back here!"

Well - to be fair - you CAN spend that kind of rent if you just NEED to be in Williamsburg or whatever, but - having left Brooklyn less than a year ago, I was paying ~$1900/month for a two bedroom apartment when I left. Wasn't anything super fancy, but it was a decent apartment. There's definitely a problem, but -

You are correct good sir or madame.

I'm hoping that McBride ends up being the sole survivor, and when he blows the Alien out of the air-lock at the climax (as per tradition), he gives his best "You're fucking out!"

Who do Hulu? We do!

Fine by me on one condition: They somehow find a way to ramp up the homoerotic undertones that were the foundation of the volleyball game in Top Gun.

Alien Covenant: 2 Aliens 2 Furious

Good point - how could I forget Jonesy! C'mere you stupid cat…

That's a lot of damn people. The original Alien had - what - 7 people in it?

That's awesome! It's been a couple of years since I watched it, so I'm sure there are things I've forgotten about.

Yeah, I was thinking more about the celebs who shows up on the older shows. Batman and Robin, The Globetrotters, Mama Cass, those kind of folks.

I started in on the 19XX books for the first mini, but for some reason it just didn't do it for me. Probably my loss.
