I haven't watched it in a little while, but - boy is that "Star Spangled Man" montage from the first Cap movie a whole lot of fun!

Agreed. I noticed that Eggers is credited as a co-writer on the screenplay; wonder if he let that slide or stuck with it.
That's actually really cool - I think time is going to be extremely kind to this series; I expect it to be considered one of the best of this decade, and you can say that at least in a small way, you worked on it. Good on you!
Yeah, I need to watch. It's on my (long) list of things to see.
This is great news; Fleabag is great, and her performance in it really creeps up on you and ends up packing a hell of a wallop by the end. So far the casting on this thing has been fairly unexpected and also really solid.
Yeah, it's a little bit gnarly, but I might not be able to help myself. My high school love of Black Flag is just overriding my good sense.
This goes on sale tomorrow, and I think I must have it:
I hope their bizarre frog-ship won't prove to be too expensive to CGI in regularly. What a weird wonderful way to get around.
That seems like the ideal way to watch it. Drafthouse event?
That's valid, I suppose. Your mileage may vary and whatnot.
At the very least, it's nowhere near as bad as the worst installments of either of the two respective series, which should be considered an accomplishment in and of itself.
Is "chode" really a swear, though?
Am I the only person who kinda likes "Freddy vs. Jason"? It's goofy as hell, sure, but I thought it found a relatively plausible way of merging the two franchises, and I though it was a decent enough way to spend 90 minutes or so. Plus - Englund's swan-song as the character.
Agreed. It's worth remembering that Johnston is the only other writer to do any work on Q&C, on the Declassified minis. There's a reason why he was a good fit.
"Meat!"
I unapologetically love that e.p. Does he get "credit" for coining the term "vajayjay"?
Obligatory "It can be two things."
Yeah that's my one hesitation about getting TOO excited about this. It still looks nice and all, but it's not quite right.
I did not know this was happening - what a nice surprise!
Honestly the suit from the 90's show is better imho.
