It bothered me, too. Of course, I'm also one of the people who was annoyed in last week's episode by a modern-day Twinkies logo. But come on, if you're going to make a show that's partially set in the past, these are such easy details to research.

All the Fox shows last night were re-runs except for this one new episode of Son of Zorn stuck in the middle. Weird.

I think it was more to add another layer to the circumstances of Randall joining the family. What if the firefighter’s wife agreed that they should adopt him themselves, instead of bringing him to the hospital? Everything would have been different, and the Pearsons would have taken home 2 babies instead of 3.

The babies were shown wearing the Big Three onesies at the very end of the pliot, so we've known since the beginning that was something he planned since before they were born.

Rebecca’s real birthday present to Jack was going into labor before he had to eat the banana-walnut muffin frosted with squeezed-out Twinkie filling.

Same with the modern Twinkies logo in the scene where Rebecca went to the liquor store

The teacher was played by an actress named Stephanie Arcila. But in one of the pictures on her iIMDb slideshow, she does look very much like Hayley Orrantia.

My guess is that the “college search” plotline is just for show (as it was for Haley, and sadly, as it apparently was for Alex), and in the end, both Luke & Manny will end up at community college- Luke because that’s his only option, and Manny because he doesn’t want to leave Gloria.

I think this is the second Modern Family episode that has involved a wedding where the actual people getting married are irrelevant to the plot. The first was the one where Lily wore the light up dress and says “Daddy, F—-!” in the middle of the ceremony.

Yes, I definitely saw the camera in the bar sketch. I'm with you, I get a kick out of things like that.

I can't believe how much weight he has lost. It took me a minute to recognize him.

I guess I interpreted it not as 2 guys kissing as the punchline, just more that the girl & the host hooked up, then 2 of the guys hooked up, leaving one poor guy awkwardly alone. But maybe I was the only one that found that funny, because the character’s name was the same as my husband’s.

When Hannah was reading the document about the 11/14 incident, the typed label for the signature line said "Captian Peter MacLeish" (sorry, I forgot to take a screen shot or anything, and I already deleted the episode from the DVR). Did anyone else notice this, and do you think the misspelling was simply a flub on

When Hannah and her box were trying to talk to Nassar, pretty much the only piece of info he gave out was the name Catalan.

I would choose Annie, purely for sentimental reasons- it was the first show I ever saw on Broadway. And since NBC is apparently trying to make the live musical a holiday tradition, it would make a nice family-friendly choice.

I wanted Reddi-Whip!

Yes, this is confusing to me, as well. In the flashback episodes William lives in
the same area as the Pearson family, and in the Thanksgiving episode, Randall was able to drive to William’s place and back in about the time it took the rest of the family to watch Police Academy 3.

There are a couple, you must have scanned too quickly.

Yeah, Gail’s storyline is hard to watch right now.

Wow, only 2 comments so far? That’s disappointing.
